Feudal Pyramid
The King was at the top of the feudal pyramid, and had power over everyone and owned all of the land.
The Lord and Nobles were second from the top, and right under the King. This section included priests and wealthy lords.
The knights were the third class in the feudal pyramid, and they were the protection that the King used in order to keep the peasents safe from invasions.The knights agreed to fight for the king in exchange for the land they were given.
The Peasants and Serts were at the bottom of the feudal pyramid, and they worked labor and the farms, and recieved protection from the knights in return.
